LDMH Time Capsule Found
Leamington, ON – During the construction of the Dialysis project a Time Capsule was found in the cornerstone dated 1948. The Leamington District Memorial Hospital (LDMH) Board of Directors is trying to determine what they should do with the Time Capsule and as a result I am asking for public input. The Time Capsule has been buried for 62 years and as such, none of the current Board members are aware of who put it in the cornerstone, whether or not it was a committee and what the intent of the committee was. To date the time capsule has been left unopened and therefore we are seeking input as to the appropriate treatment of the Capsule and its contents.
