Pelee Island Information Session Postponed
Due to inclement weather the Information Session with the Executives from Leamington District Memorial Hospital and the Erie St. Clair LHIN cannot proceed this evening as scheduled at Pelee Island Winery. LDMH and Erie St. Clair LHIN are committed to working with our healthcare partners, Municipality and the residents of Pelee Island to develop a sustainable model of primary care for Pelee Island. The purpose of the Information Session was to engage the community to review their needs and develop a model that addresses their concerns. It was to show a commitment to work together to enable a better understanding of the current state and the options that may be available.
The Information Session will be rescheduled in the next few weeks and plenty of advance notice will be provided through the Municipality. In the meantime if any resident has any questions that they would like addressed, please forward them to Linda Harfmann, Executive Assistant to the CEO, lharfmann@ldmh.org or (519) 326-2373 ext 4101.
If any Municipal leader or resident has any solutions, we would be happy to entertain them while continuing to work towards a future state model of primary care for Pelee Island.
