Leamington District Memorial Hospital has implemented a new system of monitoring and tracking its performance. The hospital has sent out a ambitious goal of being a
“Respected Leader in an Integrated Health System."
Every quarter the hospital will produce its corporate balanced scorecard update and publish it on this section of the Web-Site for the Community to review.

In order to achieve this “vision” the hospital has also established 5 Corporate Standing Goals. Those goals include:
QUALITY
- Meet Emergency Department Wait Time Targets for admitted patients, high acuity and low acuity patients and reduce % of ALC patient days across hospital services.
- Develop Comprehensive Risk Management and Quality Improvement Program
- Improve Medication Safety and Medication Management Practices
PEOPLE
- Assess and improve quality of Work-life program
- Develop a safe work environment and reduce the incidents of MSD injuries
FINANCE

Develop a Balanced Budget plan and approach ensuring no further erosion of the working capital position
INFORMATION

Review internal information systems and practices to ensure efficient flow of information across organization
PARTNERSHIP

Implement the two shared services models within the region
Every year our Board, through its Strategic Planning process, reviews and revises (if necessary), the Hospital's Mission Statement and its 5 Corporate Standing Goals. The Board also establishes its Annual Corporate Priorities.
